The sun has gone in now so I thught I would do an update.A few more pictures, one of our lovely solid wood washbasin stand made by Sally's dad and the stairs, now that they have been stained.
The colours in the rooms don't look good on the blog - so you will have to come and visit to see them.

Hey you guys, fancy leaving your newbie to the Scottish damp weather all on it's ownsome! (don' blame you though, given the opportunity I would do the same.)
Sals dad is a dab hand eh? the cabinet looks fabulous. So pleased you able to be in the warm now for the real winter! You are gonna feel the difference when you are back home. I have loved seeing the transformation of the house, a really interesting blog and once again WELL DONE (one up for female power!)
